Bio
Rebecca Daly studied Theatre and English Literature at Trinity College, Dublin and then completed an MA in Film (Dublin Institute of Technology). Her first short, Joyriders (2006) played extensively on the festival circuit, winning several international awards. Her first feature film, The Other Side Of Sleep, was selected for the Cannes Cinéfondation Residency and premiered in Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and in the Discovery section of the Toronto International Film Festival (2011). Rebecca was invited to participate in the first Berlin Film Festival Residency with her second feature Mammal. Starring Rachel Griffiths and Barry Keoghan, Mammal premiered at the Sundance Film Festival (2016).
Good Favour is her 3rd feature, it had its world premiere at TIFF (2017).
