Gender Equality Meeting

 

The Irish Film Board has introduced a new and very welcome policy to tackle the under-representation of women writers, directors, and producers in feature film in Ireland. The 'Six Point Plan', introduced in December last, intends to arrive at parity of funding for writers, directors, and producers within three years. 

The Writers Guild of Ireland and the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland are holding an information meeting for writers and directors in Galway and environs on Thursday June 2nd from 2.30 to 4.00 in the rehearsal space of the Taibhdhearc on Middle Street in Galway.
