Artists' Tax Exemption

 

At present an anomaly exists in Revenue practice with the Artists' Tax Exemption.

Audiovisual directors are not expressly included despite being acknowledged legally as co-authors of audiovisual works. A Clarification to extended the Artists' Tax Exemtion scheme to directors will play a part in the maintaining and sustaining filmmakers residing in Ireland.
