Industry Agreement 

 

Director's pay has been static or fallen over time and the industry needs a minimum payment agreement like other professions. 

 

An amendment to the 2001 Competition Act to exclude 'cultural workers' from collectively bargaining will enable Irish filmmakers to increase their respective income on international productions made in Ireland and return made in Ireland and return to exchequer by harmonizing international fees.
