Bio
Jason Tammemagi is the creator, writer and director of hit preschool show, FLUFFY GARDENS. He has directed over 20 hours of children’s television including Irish show, BALLYBRADDAN, and the UK’s beloved ROOBARB CUSTARD TOO.
As Monster Animation’s Creative Director, Jason also shaped the ground-breaking preschool show, PUNKY.
Having grown from classical animator to designer, creator, writer and director and moving from short films to commercials and then television, Jason shapes production methods and systems around his shows, with each one having different needs and different strengths.
Jason has a special interest and expertise in shows for younger children.
In live-action, Jason’s short film, DETAINED, was a hit at horror festivals and he now has a live-action feature in development with Ireland’s Ripple World Pictures.
Jason is currently developing COSMO, a preschool show for RTÉ, to teach young children about the Solar System. He has a live-action feature in development with Ripple World Pictures and has several exciting new projects yet to be announced.
Jason is currently the Chairman of SDGI’s Animation Alliance.
