Diarmuid Hayes studied Communications at Dublin City University, where he specialised in video production and was chairperson of the DCU Media Production Society, winning Best Society in Ireland in his final year. His graduation documentary film Ciarán screened at a number of festivals around Ireland and won Best Documentary at the Limerick Film Festival.Diarmuid got his start making promotional and corporate videos but has now written and directed three short films including Senior Infants, which was aired on RTE 2 Shortscreen and Creativity Requires Courage which won him a years membership to SDGI and got his name on this website.If not writing or directing, Diarmuid assumes a number of other roles in film & tv including but not limited to production and editing. Recently Diarmuid has been working on large scale productions in New York.
