Bio
Daniel O'Hara graduated from DIT's Postgraduate Diploma in Film Production and began work with Double Z Enterprises on 'A Scare at Bedtime' with Podge & Rodge. He subsequently directed factual television, before writing and directing two award-winning short films. This success led to television drama directing on 'The Clinic' and 'Paddywhackery', which he co-wrote. Two 'Inspector George Gently' films for BBC1 helped Daniel break into the UK industry, where he gained attention for work on cult hits ‘Skins’ and ‘Being Human’, before opening Channel 4’s ‘Beaver Falls’ and BBC’s ‘Wizards vs Aliens’. Recent credits include two-part films for the long-running forensic pathology drama ‘Silent Witness’, BBC Cold War miniseries ‘The Game’ and 'Doctor Who'.
