Bio
Damien O’Donnell graduated from Rathmines in 1991 and then established ClingFilms with three others – Paul Fitzgerald, Harry Purdue and John Moore. O’Donnell wrote and directed 35-Aside, probably his most successful Irish short.
Recently O’Donnell has worked with BBC Scotland and has followed this with his award-winning first feature East is East, a 1970s Manchester-based comedy for BBC Films and Film Four.
