Bio
Brendan McCallion is a 26 year old director originally from Inishowen, Co. Donegal. He is a graduate of The National Film School at IADT where he studied directing for his major. His graduation film from IADT, Backwater, premiered at the 30th Galway Film Fleadh where it received a special mention for cinematography. It then went on to make it's international premiere at the Camerimage International Film Festival in Poland.
Prior to attending The National Film School, Brendan spent a couple of years at North West Regional College of Derry, where he made a short film called A Soldier's Voice. It premiered at the 2015 Dingle International Film Festival, and then won Best Drama at the 2015 Limerick Film Festival.
