Bio

 

Barry trained at Ballyfermot College, Dublin. In 2005, he directed his Shortcuts winning script Mother’s Little Helper. The film went on to be broadcast on television and selected for a multitude of international film festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Boston, Greece, Norway, Cologne, Belfast and Galway. He is currently scripting two original feature films and numerous short scripts in addition to researching a major documentary project and developing a series of monologues for television. Most recently he has been awarded first place recipient of The Writer’s Place Award (New York) and selected as a Top Ten Finalist in The Movie Deal Screenplay Contest (Hollywood).
